We are delighted to be recruiting once again for our superb client who are a fast-growing B2B creative agency delivering corporate printed and digital design solutions.  The agency has been in business and expanding since 2001.  They have built an impressive client portfolio in the UK and across the globe, picking up some top-notch names in commercial property, legal, asset management, financial, advisory, healthcare, media and technology.  Their team of 70 creative professionals readily adapt to evolving requirements and new technologies, drawing on their creative skills to craft the best solutions.

The Role

Their regional Creative Studio based in Bristol is expanding again offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer with corporate experience to join the growing Bristol creative team. Reporting to a Design Team Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to advance in their career as a Graphic Designer.

The Person

  • You’ll be a creative thinker with extensive design experience at a mid-weight level
  • You’ll have experience working in either an in-house or studio environment helping brands engage with their target audiences
  • You’ll have a track record of working with big name corporate brands within the financial services, law, commercial property, or insurance sectors
  • You’ll have a can-do attitude with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You’ll be self-sufficient to work directly with clients
  • You’ll have proven experience of delivering projects within tight timescales
  • You’ll have the ability to dive into a complex brief and help clients develop the best solution
  • You’ll be able to bring content to life, from financial reports and marketing collateral to high-budget pitches
  • You’ll interpret brand guidelines and know when they can be challenged and developed
  • You’ll have the ability to work from concept to execution, taking an idea from the sketchpad to the screen
  • You’ll balance your bright ideas with the changing scope and timescales of a project
  • You’ll demonstrate excellent understanding of the print process and liaise directly with printers

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop bespoke creative concepts across a range of industries and develop them for both screen and print, understanding the technical requirements of each
  • Adapting to various visual identity systems whilst working across multiple client brands
  • Taking briefs from Account Managers and/or clients, managing the design process from start to finish
  • Building solid relationships with clients, based on excellent client service
  • Having a keen eye for copy layout and experience in challenging content and designing infographics
  • Working well under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Being flexible, enthusiastic and client-focused
  • Being responsible, reliable and able to work with limited supervision
  • Understanding the print process and techniques and be able to liaise directly with printers
  • Become an active member of the studio team and work collaboratively across projects
  • Mentor junior team members so they can benefit from your skills and experience
