Our client is an international, leading provider of cloud ERP solutions based in Bristol with offices in Europe and USA. The company is highly successful and experiencing very strong and ongoing growth within the UK market.

This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional looking to join an innovative company at such an exciting time of business growth. The right candidate will join an excellent office culture with a varied job remit including events, campaign management and implementation of their marketing strategy.

As Marketing Manager (Events), you will focus on developing and delivering successful offline and online events. You will get to work across a range of events throughout the year with customers ranging from charities to professional organisations of varying sizes that have interesting topics and sponsorship lead pieces. You will be skilled and experienced in helping come up with clear marketing strategies and implementing multi-channel campaigns to a B2B audience. You will be working with teams both internally and internationally to pull together and deliver successful marketing campaigns. Based in their fantastic newly refurbished central Bristol office, including games area and roof terrace, you will work with a growing marketing team to help realise the marketing strategy in line with their expanding customer base.

Does your profile match up?

You should be able to demonstrate competency in the below key areas. Whilst it is not essential to meet all requirements, priority will be offered to applications that satisfy most of the following:

  • A track record of succeeding in a marketing events role.
  • Experience in the full marketing mix including owning a budget.
  • Strong database skills and analytics.
  • Experience of setting up strong partnership agreements.
  • Solid copywriting skills.
  • Ability to generate market messages to maximize the success of events.
  • Ability to be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst working with other departments/suppliers.
  • Evidence of working in a team environment towards a common goal.

The successful candidate will

  • Work with individuals across the business, including sales, marketing and senior management to identify audience needs.
  • Negotiate with event organisers and contributors.
  • Deliver event experiences that are professional and memorable.
  • Measure success.
